Privacy policy
OTTO RACING respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what data we take when you write to us, what we use it for, and how you can ask us to delete it.
Who is responsible
OTTO RACING, a product in development. For anything privacy related, write to contact@ottoracing.io.
What data we collect
When you write to us through the contact form:
- Name (optional)
- Email, so we can reply to you
- The message you send us
Nothing beyond what we need to get back to you. We do not ask for passwords and we do not use your data for advertising.
What we use it for
Messages from the contact form, only to read them and reply. The legal basis is your consent when you send them. Writing to us does not add you to any list.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, which country you arrive from, which sections draw interest) and to improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies. They are only switched on if you accept them in the notice shown the first time; if you decline, they are not loaded. We anonymise your IP address and we do not use this data for advertising. You can change your choice by clearing the site data in your browser.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or hand over your contact details to anyone. They are stored in Supabase, our database provider, which hosts them securely on our behalf and under our instructions. If you accept the analytics cookies, Google processes site usage data (aggregated, without your name or your email) as the provider of Google Analytics.
When you write to us through the contact form, the message is also delivered by email to our inbox through Resend, our email delivery provider, acting on our behalf and under our instructions.
How long we keep it
Contact messages, for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and keep a record of the conversation. If you ask us to delete them, we do it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it or delete it. An email to contact@ottoracing.io is enough and we sort it out.
Changes
If we update this policy we change the date above. As OTTO is in development, it may be adjusted as the product grows.
